Practicing by yourself means reflecting. Practicing isn’t just about time — it’s about carving your thinking!

Professor Xue says: In the face of the technical rigor of the Russian school and the subtle expression of the French school, I advocate for a “dynamic balance.”
Every student is a unique instrument. Education should be tailored based on their personal conditions and cultural backgrounds.
Among my students, some follow the German-Austrian tradition, while others specialize in folk styles. What matters is discovering the common logic behind each voice.

因为每个学生都是独特的乐器，要根据自身条件和文化背景定制方案。

Professor Xue says: Teachers must also be lifelong learners. They must constantly improve themselves and keep learning new performance ideas — growing alongside their students.
He shares practical methods:

He compares teaching to a “laboratory”: “Each time I teach, it’s an experiment — success or failure helps shape better ways to pass on music.”
